Time for a tea ceremony at Radisson Collection Hotel, Moscow

The Project Office of Tourism and Hospitality in Moscow is launching a new cultural and gastronomic program “Moscow Tea Party” dedicated to the traditions and history of the city.

The history of Moscow's tea tradition is more than 300 years old. For the first time in 1638, tea was brought to the court of Tsar Mikhail Fedorovich. Under Catherine the Great, the imperial passion for tea passed to the court elite. In the 19th century, tea became available to everyone. Since then, Moscow has been called the tea capital of Russia. Together with the launch of the “Moscow Tea Party” project, a new round in the history of Moscow’s tea tradition begins.

Every day from 16:00 to 19:00 in the Lobby Bar restaurant you can immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the “Moscow Tea Party”. The menu includes 4 sets, as well as 8 types of tea, 3 types of jam, salmon caviar with pancakes, Moscow pretzel and other pastries.
